Why did I start this blog?

This is not the first time that I have written to connect with others, but this time, I want to share my experiences, feelings and thoughts with many more people via this blog. This is where you can find a little bit of happiness, a little bit of sadness, a little bit of our colourful life, a little bit about myself, and a few many things with a lot of love and genuineness in particular.

There are some reasons for me to create this blog, which I would like to share with you in this post.

First and foremost, I love writing. I have written different things, many of them are very common such as diary (since I was a little girl), hand-writing letters, hand-writing cards, Facebook or Instagram post (like many of you) and so on. After a period of time, I enjoy reading those writings which make me realise how much I’ve changed, recall how happy and nervous I used to be and especially, those writings bring valuable lessons that grow me up a lot. Unlike watching and listening, reading gives us time and space to digest the content in our own ways according to our imagination and feelings, which I consider emotional experiences. Because of my love for writing, I can do it without any pressure and expectations, and just do it.

One day, I believe that I no longer want to keep those feelings, experiences and lessons that have nurtured me only for myself, I want to spread that to many more people around me. I first started “practising” sharing with my parents, siblings and friends. Whenever I share something with them, I feel heard. On the other hand, it gives me chances to know their points of view and feelings, which sometimes I find hard to understand, and some other times I accept without understanding. This reflects different mindsets and perceptions accumulated by different experiences and education systems. Thanks to those different perspectives, I have grown up a lot so that I might complete myself day by day. At that moment, I thought that it would be great if I am able to share my stories with everybody and listen to theirs because the fantasy of over 7 billion people on the planet is much larger than my own fantasy, which must be incredibly interesting and knowledgeable to learn.

Then I decided to go first with this blog creation.

I truly want to talk to you via my writing about various small things in my life and my growing-up journey. You will find here diverse topics from something normal like tips to go shopping grocery, cooking, exercising or a lazy weekend vlog to something sounds more academic such as economy, jobs or education, etc. under my pen.

I consider myself quite romantic and cheesy by nature. As a result, my writing style somehow reflects that personality (you probably have different thoughts on this). I used to think that I would become a free-floating thinking writer, noting down everything through my sensitivity to life (kind of dreamy thoughts) rather than judgements. Gradually, I am turning into a more realistic mode (thanks to someone). Thus, I tend to write the truth in a gentle way instead of immersing myself in a dreamy world. This also defines my writing spirit here, “deliver my real life experiences honestly, chill and free”.

I hope you can make some time in your busy week to read, sense the rhythm of life and genuinely smile.

Thank you for reading. See you soon in my next posts.

Love,

Giangbrave
